Published references put Fort Lauderdale Executive’s main runway near 6,002 feet. Confirm the current diagram. That length is comfortable for many light jets and turboprops aimed at the Out Islands, and it is a question for a heavy jet at high weight. Do not copy a Teterboro long-range plan onto KFXE without asking the operator to run the numbers.

The useful customs note is specific. If the aircraft is leaving for MYEH or MYAM, the outbound clearance and the return clearance are both part of the day. People describe KFXE as a 24-hour customs field. Treat that as a lead to verify, not as a guarantee printed on this page.

A turboprop or very light jet is often the honest aircraft when the limiting runway is MYBS near 5,430 feet or MYEH near 6,000 feet, not KFXE itself. The turboprop guide holds the short-field table. A light jet still wins some of those trips when payload and weather agree.

Fort Lauderdale yacht days thread the New River and the Intracoastal. Bridges and no-wake zones consume a four-hour charter faster than an open-water day in Naples. If the group wants the ocean, say so. If they want a waterfront lunch downtown, the bridges may be the whole product.

Bahia Mar, Pier Sixty-Six and the 17th Street Causeway marinas serve different hulls. A large motor yacht that needs a deep slip is not the 60-foot day boat that clears the bridges. Match the boat to the mission using the motor yacht guide or the large yacht guide before you fall in love with a length.

Write KFXE or KFLL, the marina if the boat is in Florida, the island airport if it is not, the date and the bags. A dive compressor and a set of golf clubs do not share a baggage door. The carrier needs the larger item.

ALINARI brokers the flight and the yacht. All flights are operated by properly licensed direct air carriers. The vessel stays with its owner and captain. Nothing in this form reserves either one.

A dawn departure to MYEH can be the smoothest way to make a Harbour Island lunch. It still depends on the water taxi and the marina, which do not run on the aircraft’s block time.

Pier Sixty-Six and a house on the New River imply different bridge counts. Ask the captain how many openings sit between the slip and open water.

If the yacht week starts in Nassau instead, use the Nassau and Exuma flight guide. KFXE to MYNN is a different stage from KFXE to MYEH.

Winter fronts change both the Gulf Stream crossing and the Intracoastal. Build a weather day into a tight weekend rather than stacking the yacht against the last possible flight.

Crew changes and provisioning runs in Fort Lauderdale are easier than in the Out Islands. Use that advantage on purpose, and say what must be on board before the aircraft leaves.

Return flights after a Bahamas week often prefer KFXE because the clearance path is familiar. Prefer it only after the operator confirms the slot and the yacht’s disembarkation hour.

Children, a celebrant who needs a quiet cabin, and a party that wants only the flybridge are yacht questions. They do not change the runway, and they do change the boat.

Guests who fly to MYEH for four nights and come back through KFXE need the yacht to finish in time for the water taxi, the taxi to finish in time for the aircraft, and the aircraft to finish in time for a Florida customs window that may not match the outbound one. Write those three clocks. A single phrase that says back Sunday is how the marina holds the boat and the FBO does not.

Bridge openings between a New River slip and the ocean can consume forty minutes before the yacht has done anything a guest would call a cruise. If the brief is a four-hour charter, ask the captain how many openings sit on the route and whether an ocean hour remains. A longer charter is sometimes the only way the day matches the photograph.

When the same guests fly to MYEH the next morning, the yacht night in Fort Lauderdale is a hotel substitute, not the island week. Keep the provisioning list attached to the island boat. Cases loaded onto the wrong hull are the usual, avoidable failure.
