KDJT, the lagoon and the islands.

Palm Beach’s airport identity changed. Use KDJT and DJT in new briefs. Keep KPBI and PBI in parentheses when a guest, a handler or an old calendar still says PBI. The planning data on this site lists PBI and KPBI as aliases and points to the airport-owner FAQ at flydjt.org for the change. That is an identity note, not a navigation plate.

Published references describe a long runway, often cited near 10,000 feet for 10L/28R. Confirm the current chart. The length is why Palm Beach remains a serious arrival for midsize, super-midsize and long-range cabins from the Northeast. It does not obligate a particular FBO to take a particular tail number on a holiday weekend.

Boca Raton, KBCT, sits closer to some southern marinas and farther from others. Name the marina first if you are unsure which airport serves it. A twelve-minute assumption to Rybovich is not a twelve-minute assumption to a Boca dock.

Lake Worth Lagoon days suit a crewed motor yacht when the ocean is not the point. The motor yacht guide separates four hours from eight. An inlet crossing to the Atlantic is a captain’s call and can consume the advantage of a long runway arrival if the yacht then cannot leave the lagoon.

Abacos and Exumas guests often use Palm Beach as the Florida night before an island flight. That is a Harbour Island and Abaco flight plus a yacht itinerary, not a lagoon cruise that continues under sail the same morning. The Abacos week starts at a marina the aircraft does not reach.

Northeast arrivals from Teterboro or White Plains are discussed on the New York corridor page. Winter headwinds and a full cabin are why a light jet and a super-midsize jet are different Palm Beach products.

Put KDJT in the first line. Add the marina, the hours, the guest count and whether Boca is acceptable. If the legacy code is all a guest remembers, keep it and mark it as former PBI so nobody files the wrong place.

The flight contract and the yacht contract stay separate. All flights are operated by properly licensed carriers. ALINARI does not own the aircraft or the yacht and does not collect payment through this page.

Holiday weeks fill both the FBO ramp and the Rybovich slips. A flexible marina beats a famous one that is already committed.

A long-range cabin from the West Coast can arrive at KDJT and still be the wrong tool for a next-morning short runway at MYEH. Split the aircraft if the operator suggests it.

Inlet conditions decide an outside lunch. Ask the quote to name the lagoon fallback.

Golf at the island clubs and a yacht the same afternoon is a transfer sequence. Put the tee time in the note so the aircraft is not planned for the wrong hour.

Legacy PBI may still appear on a luggage tag or a car service sheet. Correct it to KDJT before the day, not on the ramp.

Provisioning a Bahamas week is easier from Palm Beach than from Hope Town. Say what must travel on the aircraft versus what the yacht APA buys.

Pets and large hard cases change both the jet door and the marina rules. Mention them before the shortlist starts.

Palm Beach weeks that add a Boca Raton house and a Rybovich yacht are two transfers, not one. KBCT may be kinder for the house and KDJT kinder for the marina, or the reverse. Ask the desk to price the car time honestly. A saved fifteen minutes of flight that costs forty minutes of traffic is not a saving, and the legacy PBI name on an old invitation does not choose the ramp for you.

KDJT’s long runway tempts people to arrive in a heavy jet and depart the next day for a short island. If that second leg is MYEH or MYBS, ask whether the heavy jet is even a candidate. Often the honest plan is a large cabin into Palm Beach and a different aircraft, already positioned, for the island.

Rybovich on a holiday weekend is a slip problem, not a brand problem. If the marina is full, Palm Beach Marina or a lagoon anchorage with a tender may save the day. Say you will accept an alternate so the quote is not stuck on one dock.

Legacy PBI on a car-service voucher will send a driver to the right airport only if the company has updated its name. Put KDJT and the FBO name in the transfer note. The twelve-to-twenty-minute band assumes the car knows which ramp.
