NORTHEAST TO SOUTH FLORIDA
New York to Naples & Miami:
TEB, HPN and the Florida fields.
Teterboro and White Plains are the New York departures this corridor uses. Naples, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach are the arrivals. The mileage is a great-circle band near 930 to 1,010 nautical miles. The block time is the operator’s number, not a distance divided by a cruise speed.
Begin your charter brief
Cabin choice on this corridor is a payload and headwind question, not a brochure photo.
THE STAGE
A planning band, not a filed route
KTEB and KHPN are the New York area fields in this guide. KAPF, KOPF, KFXE and KDJT, with legacy KPBI still recognized, are the Florida ends. The 930 to 1,010 nautical mile band covers that family of city pairs. A particular routing can be longer. The planning guide will show a great-circle distance for airports it knows and will label the hours you type as assumed billable hours.
People quote about 2 hours 35 minutes to 3 hours 5 minutes of block time for this corridor in ordinary winds. Use that only as a conversation range. A strong winter headwind, a flow delay into Florida or a payload fuel stop changes the day. ALINARI will not turn nautical miles into a promise.
Indicative hourly bands on the category pages are planning ranges: light jets often discussed near 4,500 to 6,500 dollars an hour, midsize and super-midsize near 6,500 to 9,500, heavy and long-range near 10,500 to 15,500 and above. They exclude positioning, FET, segment fees, handling and international charges. They are not a New York to Naples fare.
| City pair | Distance band | Block-time conversation | Cabin question |
|---|---|---|---|
| KTEB or KHPN to KAPF | About 930–1,010 nm | Often 2h 35m–3h 05m, operator to confirm | Winter payload with golf bags |
| KTEB or KHPN to KOPF | Inside the same band | Same caution on winds | Miami yacht transfer after landing |
| KTEB or KHPN to KFXE | Inside the same band | Customs if the trip continues to the Bahamas | Short-field next leg may want a different aircraft |
| KTEB or KHPN to KDJT | Inside the same band | Legacy KPBI may appear on old paperwork | Long runway does not set the yacht marina |
THE CABIN
Light, midsize and super-midsize are payload choices
A light jet can be the right tool for a couple with soft bags. It is the wrong assumption for a family, clubs and a headwind. Read the light jet guide and the midsize guide together. The midsize question on this route is stand-up cabin and lavatory layout, plus whether the offered aircraft still makes Florida nonstop with the real weight.
Super-midsize cabins, including the Challenger, Longitude, Praetor 600 and G280 references on the super-midsize page, enter the brief when the light or midsize payload case fails or when the cabin itself is the point. They are not a courtesy upgrade.
If the Florida arrival continues to a yacht, pick the field for the dock. Naples, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach each have a destination guide. The aircraft should serve that dock, not the airport a friend used last year.
THE BRIEF
What the carrier has to calculate
Send the New York field, the Florida field, the date, the passenger count, the return or the one-way, and the bulky items. Ask the quote to show positioning, the hourly or fixed structure the operator uses, FET and any fuel stop. A single bottom line with no scope is not comparable.
All flights are operated by properly licensed direct air carriers. ALINARI is the broker, not the airline, and this form does not reserve the aircraft.
PLANNING DOSSIER
New York corridor notes
A Friday southbound and a Sunday northbound are different winds. Price them as the trips they are.
Teterboro slots and White Plains convenience are ground questions. Say which airport the cars can actually reach.
A fuel stop is not a failure. It can be the honest way to keep a lighter cabin. Ask the operator to show it rather than hide it.
Pets and skis or clubs change the baggage door. Measure the longest item.
If Palm Beach is KDJT, do not file the trip as PBI in the guest note without the alias. The planning data accepts both.
A same-day yacht after a noon landing needs the transfer band from the destination page, not a hope that the marina is adjacent to the FBO.
International FET treatment differs from a domestic Florida flight. If the aircraft continues to Nassau, say so in the same brief.
The desk email is charter@alinariairandsea.com. There is no phone number on the site.
A Sunday northbound from KAPF into winter winds is not the reverse of Friday’s southbound. Ask for both days to be priced with the winds the operator actually expects, and ask what happens if the northbound needs a fuel stop the southbound did not. Guests remember the longer day.
If the Florida field is chosen for a yacht, the New York departure time has to survive the transfer band on the destination page. A 3 p.m. wheels-down at KOPF is a late yacht. A 3 p.m. wheels-down at KAPF can still make a short Gordon Pass sunset if customs is not involved. Write the yacht hour in the flight email.

CORRIDOR QUESTIONS
Headwinds, tax and what this page will not promise.
How far is Teterboro from Naples or Miami?
Plan on roughly 930 to 1,010 nautical miles for KTEB or KHPN to KAPF, KOPF, KFXE or KDJT. That is a great-circle band to confirm, not a route the carrier must file.
What block time should I tell guests?
Operators often discuss about 2 hours 35 minutes to 3 hours 5 minutes on this corridor. ALINARI does not calculate that from distance. Winds, routing and the aircraft rewrite it. Tell guests the operator’s figure.
When does a light jet stop being enough?
When winter headwinds, a full cabin and golf bags compete with fuel. A midsize or super-midsize cabin is the comparison, not an automatic upgrade. Ask for the payload case.
Is the 7.5 percent FET included in the hourly band?
No. U.S. air transportation excise tax is commonly discussed at 7.5 percent of the taxable amount, plus any segment fees. The operator quote shows what applies. ALINARI does not collect the tax.
