Light Jet Charter for South Florida, Bahamas & Regional Routes.
A light-jet inquiry works best when you describe what a compact journey needs to do well. Perhaps you want a straightforward regional departure, a small party traveling together or an efficient connection to the coast. Focus on usable seating, luggage and the time spent aboard before choosing an aircraft by its photograph.
Light jets: typically ~$4,500–$6,500 per flight hour.
Reviewed October 2026. ALINARI-selected North American Part 135 planning bands, benchmarked against Paramount Business Jets Charter Cost Guide, Magellan Jets Charter Cost Structure, Clay Lacy Hourly Rate Factors. Published categories and rates vary; Magellan’s premium rates may exceed these bands, and Clay Lacy is historical cost-factor context. Base hourly planning bands exclude positioning legs, 7.5% U.S. Federal Excise Tax (FET) on taxable domestic flights, federal segment fees, FBO/handling charges and international fees. Billable minimums and other trip-specific expenses may also apply. Explore the Planning & Pricing Guide.
THE ONBOARD EXPERIENCE
When a light jet fits a South Florida or Bahamas brief.
Regional mission planning
A light jet brief can compare Naples (KAPF), Miami-Opa Locka (KOPF) or Fort Lauderdale Executive (KFXE) with North Eleuthera (MYEH), Marsh Harbour (MYAM) and Exuma (MYEF). Confirm passenger and baggage load, runway performance and any fuel stop with the operating carrier before matching the flight to yacht embarkation.
Tell the provider how many people are traveling and ask which specific seats the proposal assumes. Compare a floor plan with cabin photographs. If a published maximum includes an additional approved position, decide whether that arrangement fits the way your party wants to travel. Do not substitute a manufacturer maximum for the usable, preferred seating arrangement of the proposed aircraft.
Think about the whole cabin
Ask how easily passengers can move between their seats and the lavatory, and what privacy the lavatory provides. Discuss seating orientation, table access and any need to work or eat. If someone requires boarding assistance, establish the steps and available arrangements before committing. The right questions are about the actual cabin, not whether a category sounds sufficiently luxurious.
Measure bags before departure
A small party can still bring demanding luggage. Supply a count and dimensions, including sporting equipment, larger cases and pet carriers. Ask the provider to confirm the proposed baggage loading and any cabin-storage limits. Keep essential items in a bag that the operator agrees can remain accessible. Do not rely on a volume figure alone to establish that an awkwardly shaped item will fit.
Set an honest timing brief
State a preferred departure time, a latest acceptable arrival and how much flexibility exists between them. For a return journey, include the planned time ashore instead of assuming the aircraft will wait. Ask how positioning, a potential stop and changes to the schedule affect the quoted plan. Where a marina transfer follows, use a realistic arrival-to-boarding window rather than an optimistic back-to-back timetable.
MODEL-SPECIFIC REFERENCE POINTS
Range, passenger load & runway performance.
Published model references help you compare specifications. Your proposal will identify the actual aircraft or vessel and its configuration.
Embraer Phenom 300E — manufacturer range
Range benchmark
2,010 nm
Five occupants; NBAA IFR reserves. This model-specific benchmark does not guarantee nonstop capability for a particular party or route.
NetJets’ published configuration example, not a universal model specification or ALINARI supply relationship. Confirm the actual offered cabin and baggage fit.
A refreshed interior, connectivity, catering arrangement or particular lavatory feature belongs to the aircraft offered. None is guaranteed by a light-jet label or by a photograph.
Read the complete scope
Ask whether the figure covers every requested leg and which additional services or charges remain conditional. An estimate from the planning guide is a budgeting aid; it is not a live offer or an all-in charter commitment.
CATEGORY QUESTIONS
Questions to confirm on a light jet quote.
Should I move up a category for extra luggage?+
Possibly, but first ask for a loading assessment of the proposed aircraft. The shape and access dimensions of the baggage area matter alongside volume. Compare a different aircraft only after identifying the actual constraint.
Can a light jet perform my route nonstop?+
Ask the operating provider for the specific mission assessment. Reference range figures have stated assumptions; passenger load, baggage and operating conditions can change the practical plan. A route line on a map is not a nonstop guarantee.
